Helideck Motion Monitoring
A Motion Reference Unit (MRU) provides real-time roll, pitch, and heave measurements that couple with wind data for analysis computers. An MRU increases the precision and reliability of a Helideck landing.
The user’s software provides these combined Helideck data in real-time to the helicopter in order to ensure a safe landing.

Ellipse-A
Orientation + Heave
Ellipse-A is a small-sized high performance Motion Reference Unit (MRU). It provides Roll, Pitch, Heading, and a 5 cm Heave which automatically adjusts to the wave period.
Ekinox-A
Advanced MRU
Ekinox-A is an MRU (Motion Reference Unit). It combines high end gyroscopes and accelerometers, and runs an enhanced Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) to provide Roll, Pitch, Heading, and Heave.
Navsight Marine Solution - Apogee grade
Easy Set Up, High Performance
Navsight Marine Solution consists in an Apogee grade Inertial Measurement Unit connected to Navsight, a rugged processing unit embedding the fusion intelligence. The MRU model provides Orientation and Heave data.

Wave buoys in the Arctic Sea ice
Marginal Ice Zone (MIZ) Program Over recent decades the Arctic has warmed more than any other region leading to significant reduction in sea ice volume. The combination of increased ice-free area and more mobile ice cover has led to the emergence of a seasonal marginal ice zone (MIZ) in the Beaufort Sea. The Office of … Continued
MTR Article on Bathymetric USV
The Perfect INS for USV-based Bathymetry Like most unmanned systems, USVs have space and power constraints. Ekinox-D is the best INS to be integrated into this type of vehicle. Weighing less than 600 grams and low power (<7W), the Ekinox-D INS integrates an RTK dual antenna GNSS receiver for a centimeter-level position. It provides a … Continued

Tips
Small Wave Period Sensing For More Safety
The Ellipse Series delivers a 5 cm Heave which automatically adjusts to the wave period. The wave period is quite short (0 to 15 seconds) which is crucial for safety.
