Webinar GPS World 2021

Thursday, October 28th – 11am EDT (UTC-4)

Join our next webinar, organized with GPS World, and entitled “Inertial+GNSS technology is an essential tool within the multi-layered system to create a reliable and safe autonomous navigation.”

During this webinar, you will discover how SBG Systems technology enables multi-sensor integration while addressing autonomous navigation challenges: time synchronization, integrity, precise positioning, HD mapping, etc. This webinar will also be covering the full integration process with the integration of INS/GNSS into the most popular eco-systems, such as Autoware & ROS, and RTMaps.

Programme

Laurent Le Thuaut, Business Developer Unmanned Systems, SBG Systems, will present:

– How MEMS technology addresses autonomous vehicles challenges with multi-sensors integration and synchronization (inertial, GNSS, odometer, etc.)

– How INS/GNSS brings precise positioning for real-time navigation and what are the latest innovations in term of positioning integrity

– How to further improve trajectory for mapping application using post-processing

We are also pleased to welcome two close partners as speakers for this webinar:

Armağan Arslan, Co-Founder and Managing Director of LeoDrive.ai, will deliver some technical content about:

– Synchronization of PPS signal and GPRMC messages for mobile mapping

– Creating geo-referenced point-cloud map with INS/GNSS, and Post-Processing Software

– The usage of NDT Scan Matching with the point cloud created with INS/GNSS as localization source in Autoware (ROS2).

Nicolas Du Lac, CEO of Intempora, will present their activities and RTMaps (Real-Time Multisensor applications), as well as their collaboration with SBG Systems:

– Intempora: Over 20 years of expertise in software for complex real-time systems.

– RTMaps, a versatile middleware: From Prototyping to Validation of ADAS and autonomous driving functions.

– Intempora and SBG Systems, over 10 years of collaboration between software and hardware solutions.

About GPS World

GPS World, the magazine, has covered the global positioning industry since 1989. Our website, gpsworld.com, began providing that same coverage in 1998 with news as it happens. This is GPS World, but the magazine has never limited itself to coverage of the U.S. Global Positioning System. We have also chronicled the development of GLONASS and Galileo, WAAS, LAAS, NDGPS, EGNOS, private correction services, MSAS, QZSS, Beidou, GAGAN and GRAS.

In addition to this business of global navigation satellite systems, we examine many fellow travelers, the technologies that GPS has taken along for the ride in its efforts to achieve greater accuracy, availability, integrity and robustness. We’re talking inertial sensors, LORAN-C, lasers, LIDAR, electronic compasses, cellular signal positioning, video signal positioning, odometers, wheel speed sensors, ultra wideband, RFID, Bluetooth, DSRC, and more.
