Headquartered in Carrières-sur-Seine, France with subsidiary in Los Angeles USA, the company addresses a wide range of BtoB markets including mapping and robotics.


To sustain its fast growth, SBG Systems is looking for an experienced Sales Director North America, to coordinate sales and technical team efforts in developping the company market shares within USA, Canada, and Mexico.

With a strong entrepreneur mindset, you will be responsible for both planning and day-to-day activities of our U.S. entity, while focusing on sales and business development.

This position reports directly to the CEO and the company Board of Directors based in France.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Dev. :

  • Offer SBG Systems’ products, negotiate and finalize sales agreements with new and existing customers
  • Contact leads generated by SBG Systems’ online and offline marketing efforts
  • Take part in trade shows and other market focus events (Distributor Days, etc.).
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers
  • Customer interaction by phone, email and customer visit; up to 50% traveling
  • Analyse market updates and trends (new developments, competitors update, emerging technologies, analysis by geographical area, by segment, and by competitor, etc.). Provide feedback to the management team and propose actions to expand the market shares.
  • Define and implement the best short and long term strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Support marketing team (customers success stories, product promotion, sales materials redaction, etc.)

USA Team Management :

  • Manage daily a pluridiciplinary team (sales, tech support, and office management).
  • Set up yearly budget and goals with company HQs and implement the action plan.
  • Report as necessary to the HQs

This position will require frequent travels.


BS or MS degree in EE, Surveying technology or equivalent.

A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in B2B (preferably aerospace, industrial, defense, marine or survey).

Knowledge of GNSS, Inertial Sensors and idealy LiDAR / Sonar technologies,

Excellent communication skills,

Ability to define priorities and work in a multi-tasking environment,

Result oriented, enthusiastic, team player and able to work independently.
